The High Court sitting in Ifo, Ogun state, has sentenced controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, to prison.
The singer, who was arraigned on Monday morning, was granted bail but remanded at Ilaro Prison pending the time he fulfills his bail condition.
Following the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum given to Portable to turn himself in, the Ogun State police command arrested him for refusing to honour the invitation last Tuesday.
On Saturday, Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi said Portable has more than six charges to attend to apart from resisting arrest and injuring a policeman.
“He will be charged to court for beating up a guy in Ota, who filed a petition to CP Ogun,” Adejobi tweeted.
